Congratulations to Michael for graduating from High School, Daniel for graduating from the 8th grade, and Logan graduated from Kindergarten Yahoo!! So proud of you all! Way to go! We were not able to make it up to Prescott twice in one week for Michael and Daniels graduations but were able to make to Michaels. It was fun getting to see family and share in these special memories!

Bountiful Baskets

Well a couple months back I decided to give Bountiful Baskets a try. Kirt and I do our best to eat healthy especially since he has severe gluten allergies. I had heard great things about it and like the idea of supporting a local organization! So I ordered the organic basket for $30 and you really have no idea what will be in your basket. It is mostly what is in season. Here is what I got:
1 bunch of bananas, 4 lb bag of grapefruit, 1 crate of blueberries, 1 crate of baby tomatoes, 5 organic apples, 4 kiwis, 2 bell peppers, 1 head of lettuce, 1 bunch of spinach, 2 heads of broccoli, 1 pineapple, and 1 spag squash! Yummo right! :) We ate most of everything except the bananas never got ripe to eat and we did not eat all of the grapefruit...so I am undecided whether I will order it again or not it had it's pros and cons but overall thought it was pretty good!

Finally!! Kirt is no longer killing bugs one life at a time. We have been looking and hoping to get Kirt out of the pesticide business for a long time now and he finally is yahoo! Kirt got hired on at Wells Fargo in December. We were so happy because we know how hard it is to get a new job in this economy right now... and so very happy to get Kirt away from the harsh chemical that pesticide is since spraying that stuff day in and day out for the past 4 years can't be good right?? No it is not!! Detox time:)But hey if anyone ever needs some good bug advice you know who to call....

Pedicure Discovery

I am always interested in learning about natural home remedies and trying natural products that actually work! So this morning I was removing my old nail polish on my toes with the regular acetone nail polish remover and boy my nails looked so stained and the polish remover was not fully getting the job done. I decided to take some baking soda and water and make a paste and scrub my nails then rinse them off and boy did that do the trick! It even took away that yellowish tint that we get after having polish on for so long, leaving a nice natural look. Just thought I would share! If any of you have any natural remedies that you have discovered please do share :)

Settling...Wedding...and Parvo!

Boy what a crazy crazy month May has been. Kirt and I are more than relieved it is over with. Moving is a big transition. We are getting settled into our new home slowly but surely. In the midst of getting settled, Kirt finished up finals, and our little pup Ritter got Parvo :(... then the other one got it too. Man what a horrible horrible illness Parvo is. We are not sure how they even got it since they are vaccinated and we took extra precautions to try to keep them isolated...but they indeed did fall victim to it. It is amazing what the animal hospital will charge to keep your dogs there. Kirt and I decided to play doctor by doing at home treatment for them which involved IV bags, pills, pedialite, antibiotics, nasty clean up and a whole lot of TLC!
Steven and Julie got married! Their sealing was so neat to attend to and they had a beautiful reception in Prescott. We are happy for them. Now it is a new month and we can finish getting settled, get back to a normal sleep schedule and try to find some balance in our lives again :)....hopefully. I think it is funny how every month I find myself saying if I can just get through this month and low and behold the next month is just as crazy ha ha... but I guess that is just life.

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!! Well we decided to sign our lives away:)We bought a house out in Queen Creek. It is a Spec Home and we'll be closing in April. We are excited to be moving on and excited for change. We are a little scared for the drive but we will get use to it and I am sure it will be well worth it. Pictures to come soon!!

Well I think we are officially the worst bloggers in blogger history...ha ha. Life just gets so busy especially during the Holiday Season! We have had a wonderful Holiday Season and enjoyed being able to spend time with our family and friends. It is indeed the season for sickness though.I was sick on Halloween and Kirt was sick on Christmas:( and New Years but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.
Kirt finished another semester of School and passed his classes yay!!One more semester down a million more to go:)..at least it feels that way. We are excited to have started a new year and set new goals both individually and together! 2010 will be a great year. We have high hopes for several things to happen, we will see what the Lord has in store for us this year.

Well Halloween is just around the corner!Time to get out the decorations and figure out what we are going to be this year for Halloween...any suggestions ? :)I love this time of year and am so beyond excited for cooler weather especially for Kirt's sake too. We are keeping busy with work, school, family, our callings, and LIFE in general.We were able to finally get out of AZ on a quick trip to California with Stephanie and Daniel before the busyness of this semester started.We went to the beach and Knotts Berry Farm. Kirt and Daniel had never been so it was fun to see their excitement. We had a blast. Here are just a few pics of that trip.

The Happenings!

Well a lot has been going on the last couple of months it seems as though time just keeps flying by! Work keeps us busy enough along with spending the last couple of months looking for a house, a very draining process might I say! We did put an offer on one we finally found in a perfect area with the perfect price, but our Realtor told us a little too late that we needed just one more paper turned in to have a complete offer on the house :( As far as we were concerned our offer was complete until several days later she told us and by then it was too late. Our lease ends this month too so... we are probably stuck in another lease. Right now may not be the right time for us maybe the Lord knows what is best for us right now and I just have to trust in him! Here are some pictures of some things that we have been up to this summer.

Kirt and I went on a late anniversary get-away up North, we had a very relaxing weekend. This pic was the beautiful view from our hotel room.

Kirt had a Birthday. He turned 26 on June 25th. We went & saw Transformers 2 that night with the Johnson clan it was a fun night!

Fourth of July weekend:
Friday night we met up with my family in Prescott, had dinner, then went to the Rodeo. It was a blast! The next morning we went to the Parade in down town Prescott. My dad was so excited to be in it :). It was his Birthday on the 4th too. Later that day we went up to My Grandpa's cabin it was Gorgeous up there and so peaceful. We hung out in the meadow played some bad mitten, and had a barbecue. Later that night we went back into town to watch fireworks. It was a very fun weekend.

Well It is a New Year! It has been awhile since we have posted something...so time to catch up a little bit. We are excited for 2009 and all the things the year will bring. Kirt is going to be starting classes in a couple of days. We are both just working and getting through each day. I am enjoying piano lessons. Finally pursuing a talent I have always wanted to learn growing up. Hopefully I can stick it out, Kirt says I have to! I love my husband so much! He is so good to me. I know that Heavenly knew exactly who and what I needed and blessed me with Kirt, he is perfect for me! We are going on three years in March. It is crazy time has flown by.

We got a new pet isn't he cute!!............ JK. We went to the zoo awhile ago, isn't he just the cutest thing ever? Kirt says this is what our babies are going to look like. ha ha.

33 Years of Faithful Discipleship

I know most everyone is aware of this already but Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin past away last week and we will miss him dearly. He has been called home and to continue the work with those who have gone before him. God be thanked for His servant whose presence and testimony we have been blessed with.
